What gear do I need to bring?

For trips with an overnight, you'll need clothing to ride in and clothing to be comfortable at night. We recommend bringing your own helmet and if you want, your own bike seat as well, though we have those for you if needed. If you wear bike shoes, bring your pedals too.

​​​​How hard is bicycle touring?

With an e-bike, you can adjust the effort to meet your desired difficulty.

Do we bicycle on the road?

Our tour follows paved roads, dirt roads, and bike paths. While we choose roads that are not busy, you do need to be comfortable riding on a shoulder with passing traffic. We can also drive you past the busiest sections if you want.

Where do we sleep on an overnight trip?

Each night we will arrive at a hotel or inn along our route. Some days, the route is out and back, so we will stay in the same place those nights.

What about food?

Depending on the tour, meals may be covered. We will go to fun and tasty restaurants along our route. For meals that we are away from a place to dine, we will provide a picnic, and snacks will be available too. Let us know if you have dietary restrictions, and we will accommodate you.

What will the weather be like?

Our tours are scheduled for the dry season, but afternoon thunderstorms do scatter across the mountains. For longer tours, be prepared with rain gear. For the half day tours, just check the weather.

Where do we start?

Half day tours start at a specific meeting point. Longer tours with a van ride into the mountians will either have a pickup point in Denver or we will come to where you are.

Will there be cell service?

In the mountains, there is cell service most of the time, and Wi-Fi available at night. ​

Why E-bikes?

E-bikes allow the challenge of the journey to fit the rider. By adjusting the power, everyone can  choose there desired level of effort. The Colorado Rockies are high, and the e-bike helps when the air gets thin.
